Due to other commitments, the track teams only had a partial team for the Seeley-Swan Invitational held in Missoula on Saturday.
Taryn Erickson placed fifth for Conrad in the 1,600m run with a time of 6:11.76.
Florence won the meet with 81 points. Host Seeley-Swan was in second with 72.
On the boys’ side, Javan Carroll cleared the bar at 5-8 to earn a tie for fifth place in the high jump.
The 4x400m relay team, made up of Carroll, Austin Brauer, Kellen Murack and Shane Larson placed fourth with a time 3:52.52.
Charlo won the meet with 83 points and Ronan-St. Ignatius was second with 72.
At the Cascade Lion Club Top 8 meet in Great Falls, Erickson took sixth place in the 400m in 1:08.16.
Carroll went over the bar at 6-0 to win the high jump event and Logan Gouchenour was in fourth place at the high jump, getting over the bar at 5-8.
Coach Jim Carroll commented, “Both of these meets were good and resulted in good performances for us.”
The Outstanding performers of the Week were Carroll at the high jump, Erickson in the 400m and 1,600m runs, Brauer in the 11,600m run, and the 4x400 relay team of Carroll, Brauer, Larson and Murack and Clark Judisch in the discus.
Next up for the thin clads is the District Meet in Great Falls on Saturday. The top six placers in each event will move on to the Divisional in Glasgow on May 18.
