Kim Moritz of Kim’s Kiddie Korner has been accepted to participate in the Best Beginnings STARS to Quality Field Test Program.
The Best Beginnings STARS to Quality Program, of the Montana Department of Public Helth and Human Services, is a voluntary quality rating improvement system that aligns quality indicators with support and incentives for early childhood programs and early childhood professionals. The program was developed with input from statewide stakeholders; professionals, parents, early childhood professionals and national experts committed to providing high quality early childhood experiences for your children.
Moritz has 14 years experience in the childcare profession. She offers family group childcare out of her home for children birth to seven years of age. She believes in the importance of quality and commitment in childcare and has incorporated Mother Goose Preschool into her childcare business. This curriculm is offered to all children that are enrolled in Kim’s Kiddie Korner. Moritz has acheived a level 2 on the Career Path on the Montana Practioner Registry and must complete annual professional development hours to remain active on the registry as well as participate in the STARS to Quality program.
