Joe T. Broesder has joined Stockman Bank as an Ag and Commercial loan officer for the Conrad office.
His responsibilities include developing and servicing commercial and agricultural loans and assisting clients with their ending needs.
Broesder, who previously worked for the MSU-Bozeman Extension Service, brings a strong background in economic development and agriculture that will provide valuable resources not only for customers and potential clients, but for the community as well.
He earned his Master of Science degree in animal science from the University of Nevada-Reno and his Bachelor of Science degree in animal science, from MSU-Bozeman. He is also a graduate of the Western Extension Leadership Program.
Broesder has been committed to the communities in which he serves and has been recognized for various leadership roles, which include being awarded the Outstanding Agriculture Advocate Award from the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee in 2012 and the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents also in 2012.
He is a member of the National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals, as well as the Montana Joint Council of Extension Professionals.

Broesder, a native of Valier, will reside in Conrad with his wife, Rebecca, and youngest daughter, Abbie. They also have three grown children, Ty, Carrie and Maggie.
