Front Range CASA receives grant

Front Range CASA is proud to announce that they are the recipient of a grant of $18,000 from the Steele-Reese Foundation.

The Steele-Reese Foundation was created in 1955 by Eleanor Steele Reese, the daughter of Charles Steele, who was a business associate of J.P. Morgan.

The charitable trust is committed to supporting rural communities and the nonprofit organizations that serve them in Montana, Idaho, and Appalachian Kentucky.

The purpose of the Foundation is to maintain a focus on the unique challenges of rural living and on helping people build healthy, successful, and sustainable communities. The board of directors of CASA is grateful that the Steele-Reese Foundation recognized how their purpose matched up with the mission of Front Range CASA and honored us with this grant.

Front Range CASA/GAL is a non-profit organization based in Conrad, which serves children in north-central Montana in the 9th Judicial District.

Their mission is to provide a trained advocate for every abused and neglected child in our region in order to help the court system and to represent the best interests of the child who ends up in court due to no action of their own.
