The late Princess Diana once said, “Family is the most important thing in the world.” This is definitely true for Cody and Amanda Waldusky owners and establishers of Dry Fork Plumbing and Heating, Inc. and this week’s Spotlight on Business.
Both Cody and Amanda are Montana natives that enjoy everything about their beautiful home state, and in 2008 they decided to make our little piece of Montana their home.
At the time, Cody was working out of town doing commercial construction and service, and although he was able to provide for his family, he spent a great deal of time away from home. “As our children get older and are entering school,” Amanda commented, “we wanted Cody to be home. Being able to provide a service to our community and have dinner together every night as a family is important to us.”
So beginning this year they established Dry Fork Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in an effort to keep patriarch, Cody, closer to home. “While our business is not necessarily unique to Conrad,” said Amanda, “we kept seeing and hearing a need for it in our town and surrounding communities.”
With such a wonderful focus on family it’s not hard to see why their rule of thumb is to treat customers how they would want to be treated, and to try hard to be respectful and courteous.
The couple works in tandem, with Cody as their master plumber and handyman, and Amanda as the new business’s secretary. When not busy with secretarial work, Amanda enjoys volunteering in her sons’ classrooms when help is needed.
While Cody is their only plumber as of right now, they have plans to bring on more licensed plumbers should the need arise.
Dry Fork Plumbing and Heating provides plumbing and boiler service, remodels and new construction, both residential and commercial. Cody, who is no stranger to travel, is also happy to visit surrounding communities for a customer.
“Our hope is to get to know our community better now that Cody will be working closer to home.”
