The Pondera Medical Center Health Fair and Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Oct. 30 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 416 S. Kansas St. There is no charge to attend the Health Fair. This is a free event.

A major feature of the Health Fair will, again, be the blood screening and PSA tests. You can have this done for $45 each or $90 for the panel and PSA screens.  Pricing for lab draws will be effective and available at PMC throughout the week.  Flu shots will be available for $25.

Pricing for the lab draws really is a bargain—there is no better health deal in town. You can’t afford not to take advantage of this yearly special which normally would cost you hundreds of dollars. If you take the lab tests, you are asked not to eat until after you have your blood drawn.

PMC will not bill your insurance company or you for the lab tests. This needs to be paid for at the time you register. If requested, you will be given the necessary information to send to your insurance company.

PMC has a full allotment of flu vaccine and will be administering shots at the Health Fair.If you are a Medicare/Medicaid beneficiary, a form will be available to fill out and present to the nurses.PMC will bill Medicare/Medicaid for the vaccination.Otherwise, as with the lab draws, the shots will need to be paid for at the time you register and can provide necessary information for your insurance company if requested.

There will be door prizes, beverages and healthy snacks available. You can also get your blood pressure checked for free.

Vendors from around the area, along with some of PMC’s departments, will be in attendance and have displays with information about their products and services and Mercy Flight is scheduled to be on display at approximately 10 a.m.  Come on out and join us!
