Family clinic set to open in January

Bringing in the New Year, Conrad will have a new business.

A Family Practice Clinic will be opening on Jan. 6 in the old Benchmark Physical Therapy offices at 1 Fourth Ave. SE, next door to Olson’s Drug.

Doctor Lance Stewart and Heidi Hunsucker, APRN-FNP will be available to see patients Monday through Thursday, taking appointments from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-in appointments are also welcome. Annie Schlosser LPN will be assisting.

Hunsucker tells the I-O, “We will provide healthcare to ages throughout the lifespan from newborns to geriatrics.”

Dr. Stewart, Montana native, received his schooling from the University of Utah with his residency in Family Practice done in Salt Lake City.

Hunsucker is a Michigan native who received her nursing degree from MSU—Bozeman and has lived in Conrad for the past four years.

Service to patients will include well-child checkups, wellness physicals, sports physicals, DOT physicals, and care for acute illnesses and injuries.

The new medical practice will accept Medicare, Medicaid and all major insurance companies and cash payments.

“We will work with patients to make sure their healthcare needs are met, while keeping them close to home,” says Hunsucker.

She went on to add, “We look forward to working with the local businesses in Conrad to provide high quality healthcare to residents of Conrad and the surrounding area.”
