Klette Electric: young blood with veteran values

By Melissa Huber, I-O Reporter

Britain’s first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, was once quoted in The News of the World as saying, “My policies are based not on some economics theory, but on things I and millions like me were brought up with: an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay . . .”

It is this same belief that has inspired a strong work ethic in Aaron and Mary Klette, founders of Klette Electric, PLLC, who say putting their best foot forward and working diligently were things they learned from their parents and growing up in rural Montana. “Customer satisfaction is paramount in our company,” they say, “and we always go the extra mile to ensure that everyone is satisfied with project results.”

Aaron Klette (son of Cheryl and Terry Klette) and wife Mary (daughter of Betty and Ramsey Offerdal) founded Klette Electric in Great Falls, where Mary works full-time at Nelson Architects, in September of last year.

The addition of Aaron’s brother, Adam, rounded out the team, and also served to extend their business back to their hometown of Conrad, where Adam lives with his wife Kilani, a registered dietician at Pondera Medical Center.

The Klette brothers, who have worked together previously, have found that, despite their different personalities, each of their strengths complements the other’s.

Both achieved their electrical apprenticeships and Journeyman licenses in Bozeman, where they also had the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects. Such projects included multi-million dollar commercial, high-end residential, comprehensive remodels, large-scale industrial, and everything else in between.

This broad range of production led to a level of experience that is rare in people their age. In fact, everyone who serves at Klette Electric shows a level of professionalism that is unique in the “under thirty” crowd.

Aaron (Master Electrician and CEO, age 29), Adam (Journeyman Electrician, age 27), and Mary (CFO, age 26) say, “We approach every project with a high level of integrity, which enables us to gain our clients’ trust and form lasting relationships. Our craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none, but not at the expense of efficiency—we take pride in our work and it shows.”

Klette Electric offers electrical contracting: commercial, residential, industrial, and design-build. When asked why they decided to extend their business to Conrad they said, “We wanted to provide our exceptional services to our local friends and neighbors, and contribute to the growth of the community.” They went on to add that they are fond of their homespun values and proud of their small town upbringing.

In addition to their business, the Klettes have invested into the community by sponsoring local events, and volunteering for FFA Crops and Mechanics seminars (which the Klette brothers have done for the past two years).

With this attention to detail, strong moral values, and diligent work ethic, it is no doubt Klette Electric will continue to thrive.

Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher went on to be the longest running Prime Minister Britain had ever had, and, with any luck, the same values that guided her through a long, successful career will do the same for Klette Electric.
