Chamber After Hours goes South of the Border

It was fiesta time at last week’s Chamber After Hours event hosted by the Pondera Village Shopping Center. The evening’s menu consisted of beef tacos, chicken fajitas, coconut mango slaw, spicy shrimp tacos, chips and fresh made salsa from Gary and Leo’s IGA, various vegetables and fruits, dessert, and a selection of drinks to choose from.

Chamber of Commerce President Gerald Miller opened the evening by thanking the hosts and inviting everyone to eat and enjoy themselves. Tables were set up in the north side area of the Shopping Center, and businesses from that end had doors thrown wide open in invitation. Music fitting of the night’s theme drifted out from the rooms as business owners and chamber members mingled.

Next month the Chamber of Commerce will hold its luncheon, which alternates from month to month with the Chamber After Hours events. The July 16 luncheon will be held at Joe’s Steakhouse at noon. The public is invited to attend and catch up with the happenings in the community.
