UMS matmen cruise to victory lane

   Last Saturday the UMS matmen hosted a 13 team tournament.
   Towns participating included Belt, Browning, Cascade, C-JI, Cut Bank, East Glacier, Fort Benton, Havre, Heart Butte, Lewistown, Shelby and Valier.
   Team places and score looked like this: Conrad 198, Cascade 172, Havre 168,  Cut Bank 137, followed by Lewistown, Fort Benton, Browning, Shelby, Valier, Belt, Heart Butte, C-JI, and East Glacier in this order.
   Buckaroos wrestlers earned four first places, three seconds, two thirds, one fourth place, two fifths, and three six places.
   The individual results for the matmen went like this:
70-80 POUNDS
   Morgan Koenig 3-0, 1st; Blake Underdahl; 3-0, 1st; James DeBoo 0-2; and Parker Slezak 0-2.
85-90 POUNDS
   Tyler Padilla 2-2, 5th; Dakota Suta 0-2; Hunter Mycke 2-2, 4th; Lucas Fowler 1-3, 6th; Spencer Coyle 0-2.
95-110 POUNDS
   Tristen Diedrich 3-1, 2nd; Tyler Schultz 3-3, 6th; Clark Judisch 1-2; Garrett Moritz 3-1, 3rd; Javan Carroll 1-3 6th; Tyler Richer 2-1, 2nd.
120-185 POUNDS
   Chris Morano 2-1; Jonathan Inman, 0-2, 5th; Devin VandenBos 2-0, 1st; Wesley Varnum 2-0, 1st; Seth Diedrich 2-1, 2nd; and Justin Ratzburg 2-1-, 3rd.
   The UMS wrestlers are off to Browning on Friday for a district tournament.
