Nu Keil Park group gearing for fund-raisers

The Nu (Neighbors United) Keil Park group is gearing up for more fundraisers with the hope of raising the money needed to replace the unsafe equipment before more children are hurt.
“Because the equipment we first considered was so costly we continued looking until we have found good quality equipment that is much closer so the shipping costs will be considerably less,” said Karen Burditt.
She went on to add,  “We are hoping to raise another $12,000.”
Their first fundraiser will be a spaghetti dinner beginning at 5 p.m. on April 4 at the Moose Lodge.
There will be good music during the evening by Frank Crowder and his group and Ernie Mains for your listening and dancing pleasure.   Come out for dinner and the music and help Nu Park to raise money for this worthwhile project. Raffle tickets will be sold for $250. in Chamber of Commerce gift certificates.  These can be used at any business that belongs to the CofC.
Plans are being made for a garage sale later this spring and a carnival at the Keil Park, which is located behind the hospital.
The Keil Park got its name because Laverne and Vivian Keil donated that land for the park many years ago.
