Dale Elmer Younce

Dale Elmer YounceDale Elmer Younce, 90, a retired Brady area farmer, passed away Saturday, Dec 23, in the Pondera Medical Center Extended Care following a short illness.
Cremation has taken place and at Dale’s request no services are planned.  The Pondera Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Dale was born July 9, 1916 in Anthony, Kansas to Mackie and Addie Ormes Younce.
He and his family moved to Minnesota in 1917.  Moving back to Anthony in 1924 after the death of his father.
Dale graduated from Spring Township, Kansas in 1936.  He started farming at age 15 for his mother and grandfather and continued to farm until age 80.  He moved to Brady to farm for his aunt in 1956.  On December 15, 1951 he married Thelma Evans.  They had one child, Johnny Dale in 1953.
Dale was a member of the Tri-County Elevator Board and the Precinct 42 Voting Board for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roy, Paul, Floyd and a sister, Dorothy Hamilton.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Thelma; a son, Johnny and wife, Kathy; grandson, Cole and wife, Mandy; and great grandson, Williams Dale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Dale was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and neighbor.
