Marthelin ?Marcy?  YeagerMemorial services were held at 11 a.m., Jan. 2, at the Choteau United Methodist Church for Marthelin “Marcy” Yeager, age 85 of Choteau who died Dec. 29, 2006 at the Teton Nursing Home in Choteau from natural causes. Rev. Kama Hamilton Morton and Rev. Bob Thornton officiated. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Funeral Home of Choteau.

Marcy was born Nov. 17, 1921 in Cottonwood, Idaho the daughter of Wade and Lucy Kincaid.  She attended high school and also received an Associates Degree from Northern Montana College. She was married to Glen W. Yeager on November 23, 1946 in Great Falls.
Marcy was a veteran of the US Army Woman’s Army Corp (WAC) from 1942 to 1945 and was an elementary education teacher and a homemaker. She was a mother advisor for the Rainbow Girls and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Girl Scout leader and member of the cemetery board.  Marcy was a great cook who was happiest when all her family was around the table enjoying one of her “feasts”. She rarely missed a sporting event of one of her athlete children and grandchildren. Marcy never forgot a birthday and was a patriotic American.
Marcy loved chocolate and was known for her wonderful fudge. She loved having her great grandchildren around her and she was known for being a great “teaser”.
Marcy is survived by her husband, Glen W. Yeager of Choteau; a daughter, Judy Lee (Mrs. Bob) Yeager Thornton of Denver, Colo, sons: Gerald W. (wife, Colette A.) Yeager and Greg R. (wife, Kim) Yeager, both of Choteau; 8 grandchildren: Doug Yeager, Jennifer McGovern, Scott Leigh, Brant Yeager, Dan Yeager, Josh Leigh, Dustin Yeager and Jeff Yeager and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Lucy Kincaid and brothers: Robert and Kolb Kincaid.
Memorials are suggested to the Teton County Nursing Home or the Lion’s Club Pool Fund.
