Howard William Schlepp, 84  of Lake Oswego, Ore., passed away Dec. 27 of natural causes. Family memorial services will be Jan. 20 at 2:30 p.m. at Carman Oaks Care Center with private inurnment in Williamette National Cemetery.
Howard was born in Brady on Dec. 1, 1933.
He was an engineer employed by Exxon Oil refinery in Aruba. He and his wife, Eileen moved to Lake Oswego in 1975 after his retirement from Exxon Oil where he worked for 22 years in Aruba.
He attended and graduated from Montana State College and served in the U.S. Air Force During WW II where he earned the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He loved to play golf.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Schlepp, two daughters, Holleen Schlepp and Barbara Phillips; one brother, Waven Schlepp and one sister, Esther Sutherland.
He is also survived by two grandsons.
