Nancy Hansen, of Canby, Ore., peacefully passed away on March 24 at the age of 64.
Her family invites all to join them in a celebration of life at Canby New Life Four Square Church on April 13 at 1 p.m.
Nancy was born a farmer’s daughter on Jan. 26, 1949, in Conrad to David and Rosella Larson. The family moved to Pendroy when she was a teen. This is where Ron and Nancy met and their story together began. They married on Feb. 10, 1968. By his side, Nancy proudly moved to Hawaii, then back to Montana as Ron served in the Navy. They landed in Oregon where they have lived happily for the last 44 years. Together they built a God centered life and began their family, which included their children, Keith, Staci and Olivia. They welcomed two son-in-laws into their family and had 11 beautiful grandchildren.
Nancy was a sacred space, a temple and home for the Holy Spirit. Out of her heart came praises from her lips, songs of joy and gratitude for God filled the room. “Give her the fruits of her hands, let her works praise her at the gates.” Proverbs 31:31
Nancy Hansen is survived by husband Ron Hansen; children Keith Hansen, Staci Sprague and Olivia Behrendt; and three brothers Kenneth, James and Dennis Larson.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been created to help defray medical expenses. Nancy Hansen Memorial - Clackamas Federal Credit Union, 184 N. Grant St., Canby, Ore., 97013.
