Elizabeth Loraine (Schultz) Nierstheimer, 89, passed away of natural causes on Aug 21.
A memorial service was held on Aug. 24, at the Conrad First Presbyterian Church. Pondera Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Betty was born Jan 7, 1924, to Martin and Ora Schultz of Dutton. She grew up on a farm homestead outside of Dutton, graduated from Dutton High School and attended Kinman Business College. Betty had a full life and was an icon in Conrad as owner and operator of “Betty’s Diner”.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Brett) Carver of Dillon; son, Randy (Nanette) Nierstheimer of Colorado Springs; granddaughters, Amanda Carver of San Jose, Calif., Christa (Jon) Elza of Osan, South Korea, Melissa Manweiler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandsons, Bryce Carver of Dillon, Austin Carver of Dillon and Martin Nierstheimer of Kena, Hawaii; five great-grandchildren, Adam Elza, Carter Elza, Nolan Elza, Cohen Manweiler, Finley Manweiler; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents and six siblings.
Memorials may be given to the National Stroke Association or charity of choice.
