Marge (Allum) Brass

Marge (Allum) Brass passed away Nov. 23 in Seattle, Wash., following surgery.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the spring in Conrad.

Marge was born Nov. 7 in Great Falls. She lived in Carter until 1954 when the family moved to Conrad. She lived there until 1976, graduating from Conrad High School in 1966. She married Michael (Sam) Brass in 1974. Marge worked at Pondera Drug, now Olson’s Drug, until moving to go on the construction trail with her husband, Michael and baby girl Martina Jo who was born in 1976. They traveled extensively with Hilde Construction. Another girl, Michael (Micki), was born to them in 1980.

Then finally settled in Newport, Wash. Marge was happy being a stay-at-home mom and was very involved in her daughter’s activities. After retiring, they traveled a lot, including to Florida and Barcelona, Spain, to visit their girls. Both of their daughters later moved to Newport to raise their families, much to Marge’s delight.

Marge loved company and loved to cook for all who dropped by. The only rule was that after the first visit, you went to the fridge for your own beer.

She will be missed very much by her husband of 39 years; daughters Marti (Travis) Sherman, Micki (Kevin) Pyrsen; sister Audrey (Joe) LaRance; brother Jerry (Carrie) Allum; and grandsons, Rocco, Ramsey, Waylon and Leo.

Marge has gone to be with parents Virgil and Florence Allum and beloved nephews Clark and Chuck LaRance.

Rest in Peace “Two Feathers”.
