Patricia Louise “Pat” DeBoo

Patricia Louise “Pat” DeBoo passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on March 14.  She was 74 years old. 

Funeral mass was held March 19 at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery. 

Pat was born in Browning on Sept. 17, 1939 to Alfred and Catherine (Tatsey) Bouttier.  She married Louis DeBoo on Aug. 14, 1964 in Browning.  Pat lived near Valier. Together they ranched and raised nine children.  Pat was a homemaker and a caregiver.

Pat was very artistic. This showed in her beautiful beadwork, quilts and other craftwork.  She loved to read, go camping, dancing, and spent her time visiting and laughing with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Louis DeBoo; daughters, Bev Guest of Missoula , Denise (Scott) Newmiller of Conrad, Ramona (Justin Brownell)  DeBoo of Pendroy, and Roberta (Kyle) Sinclair of Browning; sons, Robert J. DeBoo, Chuck (Cary) DeBoo, and Alfred “Frosty” (Toni) DeBoo all of Valier, and Lawrence “Smiley” DeBoo of Birch Creek; brother, James Bouttier of Statesboro, Ga.; sister, Elizabeth (Michael) Brown of Missoula; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Catherine Bouttier; grandson, Cody DeBoo; and other relatives, Joseph Bouttier, Curtis Bouttier, Gerald Bouttier, Belva Wenzel, Sandra HeavyGun and Margaret Buchholz.
