Michael C. Harcourt    A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. July 2 at St. William’s Catholic Church in Dutton for Michael C. Harcourt, age 78, of Dutton who died June 25 at the Benefis East Hospital in Great Falls from natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Funeral Home of Choteau and interment of his cremated remains will be in the Dutton Cemetery at a later date.
    Michael was born April 14, 1929 in Portland, Ore., the son of Bernard and Mary Elizabeth (Meyers) Harcourt. He was married to Joyce Woods on April 19, 1963 in Great Falls and they were divorced in Jan. of 1997. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
    Michael was raised and educated in Great Falls and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in 1948. He was a journeyman painter, working with his father and on his own. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Allied Painters Union and also worked painting at the missile silos.
    Michael was a past member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the American Legion in Dutton. He enjoyed being with his family and participating in his church.
    Michael is survived by his ex-wife, Joyce Harcourt, of Great Falls; three sons: Bernard (Karyn) Harcourt, of San Diego, Calif., Brian D. Harcourt of Dutton, and Geoffrey D. (Lacy) Harcourt, of Rochester, Minn.; three grandchildren: Chauncey Harcourt, of San Diego and Mikayla Harcourt and Ciara Harcourt, both of Rochester, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Francis Harcourt.
