Mildred “Millie” Yvonne Winkowitsch

Mildred “Millie” Yvonne Winkowitsch    Mildred “Millie” Yvonne Winkowitsch, 66, a Certified Nurses Assistant and waitress, died Aug. 20, at  the Glacier Care Center in Cut Bank of complications due to Alzheimers.
    A Memorial service was held Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Assembly Of God Church in Cut Bank.  Hi Line Funeral Home in Cut Bank was in charge of arrangements.
    Survivors include Millie’s husband, John A. Winkowitsch, of Cut Bank; sons, David (Lynn) Winkowitsch, of Cut Bank and John Jay Winkowitsch, of Silver Spring, Md.; sisters, Lilly (Dick) Wood, of Lincoln, Grace (Bob) Rondorf, of Snohomish, Wash., Maggy (Dick) Treptow, of Puuallup, Wash., and Audrey (John) Fredrico, of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, Carl Severson, of Bellevue, Wash., Gerald (Theresa) Severson, of LaGrange N.C., Harold (Sharon) Severson of Snohomish, Wash., and Harry (Jeanette) Severson, of Great Falls; an aunt, Hazel Armstrong, of Brady; and grandchildren, Hunter and Kimber Winkowitsch, of Cut Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
    Mildred was born Sept. 9, 1938 in Conrad to Melvin and Josephine (Armstrong) Severson. She grew up and attended elementary school in Brady and graduated from Brady High School in 1958. She married John Winkowitsch June 30, 1962 in Brady. She worked as a CNA, waitress and house cleaner. Millie was a Troop Leader for Boy Scouts and was very active in her church organizations. She enjoyed craftwork in various areas.
