David Eugene Wall

    David Eugene Wall, of Dupuyer, passed from this life just two days after his 74th birthday on Oct. 11.  
    Dave was born Oct. 9, 1933, to John and Olive Wall in Great Falls. He lived a fulfilling life in Dupuyer, including his elementary education there, before graduating from Valier High School in 1951. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served from Aug. 1952 to July 1956. His service included active duty during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. He returned to Dupuyer to ranch and eventually became the section man in the Dupuyer area for the Montana State Highway Department until he retired in 1995. Dave was dedicated to his work.
    His survivors include his children:  Howard (Linda) Wall, of Cut Bank; Pat Wall, of Dupuyer; Karen (Doug) Dahl, of Havre, and Holly (Phil) Walker, of Hawaii. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren: Kelsey (Jim) Walker; Lindsey (Jason) Luse; Jennifer and Marc Dahl; Bill Campbell; Marcia (Joe) Kellogg; Heather and Mary Walker. He also looked forward to seeing his great-grandchildren: Ryan, Keaton, McKenna Walker and Connor Kellogg. He will be sorely missed by his special friend, Louella Wall, by his sister Carol Jiminez, sister-in-law Eva Wall and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jack and Robert Wall; and daughter Marie “Toots” Wall.  
    Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for Oct. 20, at Dupuyer Cemetery followed by lunch at the Dupuyer Community Hall. Services will begin at 11 a.m.
